Jealous God Notes

Some discrepancies I thought detracted from the story:

If Nick's being was strong enough to tear people apart limb from limb, why did Michael have such a relatively easy time fighting it?

Why didn't Randi and Michael suspect Nick much sooner? Especially when the notes referred to "Angel", a name only Nick used?

Why did Nick give Randi the third talisman? Given his state of mind, this didn't seem like a logical thing for him to do.

Why didn't Nick's blasts of power when he was fighting Michael hurt him more? (cf. 1st point above)
